An early ... and most special Christmas present!
 

Our daughter in Plainfield (near Chicago) gave birth to their second child this afternoon at 1:02. Baby was a little boy 20 1/4" long and who weighed in at just over 7 pounds. The new guy is our 7th grandchild and our 5th grandson.

Just thought I'd share our most special Christmas present with all our Pixie family.

Everybody's doing fine and my daughter expects to be home either tomorrow evening or Sunday. Haven't talked to my son-in-law yet, but no doubt he's in seventh heaven. He's home watching their other son. Thanks for your kind thoughts. We're pretty happy, that's for sure.

They named the little guy Spencer, and, I haven't counted the sleeps til' PAGAN08 ... but, I do know it's far too far away right now.
