1000th Post!
 

I've been puting off posting my 1000th for a while now, but I've decided to give it a shot. No pics I'm afraid, but I think you lovely pixies will understand.

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm a relatively new member, but I really love this place, it's helped me through some stuff, and made me really comfortable and happy with who I am sexually, and in other ways too.

Now here's the kicker:

But. And not the good "butt" that's wonderful and spankable, it's the kind of "but" that means there's gonna be a change of tone soon.

But, although I am happy and comfortable with this place, it's clear and understandable, that not everyone is always going to be.

At this point I'd like to make a brief reference to my wonderful SO who has tried hard to comprehend my love for pixies and to accept it as part of my life. Don't make him the enemy in your head, he doesn't know I'm doing this.

So it is with some sadness that I hang up my pixies hat. I want to be honest with my SO and I know that this place just doesn't make him comfortable. So rather than sneak it behind his back, I'm going to quit the rather addictive ;) pixies habit...

I can't say it'll be forever, maybe someday i'll even return with my SO, but it seems right to end on this note, my 1000th post, knowing what pixies has given me, rather than a later date, knowing what pixies has taken away.

I know this all seems rather pompous, I should've just left and no-one would have known the better, but I want to thank all the posters here at pixies for being absolutely excellent. Love you all, thankyou, and goodbye :waves:

We'll certainly miss you when you're not around and hope that one day you'll be able to be back with us.

Remember, we'll leave a light on for ya!

From someone who was here and also left for a while, I never anticipated that I would return, but I have, just not as actively. I know how you are feeling.

That being said, you will be missed, but most of us here at Pixies can certainly understand, and respect your decison.

I respect your mature decision to put 'real life' relationships above 'virtual ones' and I appreciate that you're doing this through choice not because you've been given an ultimatum. I think you're doing the right thing, and sometime in the future, maybe your SO will come around to the Pixie way.

In the meantime, know that your input here has been enjoyed, appreciated and respected and that you will be missed. If one day you return, we'll be waiting with open arms!
