Things are tense
In the NHL's southeast division:
SOUTHEAST...............GP.....W......L.....OT.... Pts Carolina Hurricanes......58.....27.....27.....4......58 Atlanta Thrashers.......58......27.....27.....4.....58 Washington Capitals....56.....26.....25.....5......57 Florida Panthers.........57......26.....26.....5......57 Tampa Bay Lightning...56.....23......27.....6......52 But: Neige I notice the Canadiens have 67 points, and are #2 in the Northeast division, behind only the Senators with 72 points. And Sugarsprinkles, if you're still out there, the Red wings are #1 in the Western Conference's Central division, *and the league*, with 87 points. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=...e=StandingsPage |
Yes, and the Sens whipped the Habs' butts last night. :tear:
But generally, they are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!! :D |
Holy crap gekkogecko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I'd just like to take this moment to point out that the Montréal Canadiens are now #1 in the east!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :line: |
Not only was it 10-2, but Huet started in goal for the Caps last night.
(For those of you who don't follow it much, Cristobal Huet was, until last Tuesday's trade deadline, Montreal's goalie). |
I'd say " go Wings" here but the playoffs are rapidly approaching ,and well, let's call a spade a spade, when we note that the Wings have been good during the regular season, but capable of collapses of monumental proportions over the past few seasons.
10-2??? When did they start allowing "safeties" in hockey? And was the 10 points the result of a TD followed by a field goal? :) |
