Heard about him on NPR this afternoon, only minutes after it was announced...shocked, stunned & saddened only begins to cover what I felt. Tom Brokaw just rose in my estimation in his professionalism, in being able to get thru the announcement with only a few tremors in his voice.

And PF, Russert is a little too close to my generation for my comfort...
