A Well Delivered Speech!
 

President Obama just delivered an important speech at Cairo University in Egypt. I found it well balanced between flights of idealism and a sober realization of the realities which limit what can be achieved. The ignorant and the extremists were criticized, and he even managed to get a gentle dig in at the French.

I particularly enjoyed the echoes of MLK’s “I have a Dream” in the portion – issue two I think – on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.

I do enjoy his oratory.
