Transitions: Eric Rohmer
 

The last of the great French New Wave film directors of the 50's and 60's Eric Rohmer passed away yesterday at the age of 89. Rohmer's first feature was "Le Singe du Lion in 1959,followed by Ma Nuit Chez Maude and Six Moral Tales. In 2001,he was awarded the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival.
