Year in Review
What were the 3 most significant events in your life that occurred during 2010?
|
1. I changed employers
2. My son moved out. 3. A houseguest returned |
Chronological order for the year:
1. My mother died. 2. I ended up needing neurosurgery. 3. My girlfriend finished her back-to-college courses, and graduated. |
My grandfather died.
I had to find a new job (and the new one kicks ass!) I was able to go on several motorcycle rides with a group of great people that includes some family. |
1. I changed jobs 2. I've had fun with someone I didnt think I would have fun with
3. Ive finally realised we make our own luck and we are responsible for our own way in life. Im looking forward to 2011 |
1) A major promotion at work and the lifechanging implications.
2) My wife's grandmother, 104 years old, the matriarch of her family, passing away. 3) Our trip to Japan. |
1) Back went out again, still working on what's going to be done about it
2) My depression got worse again (and resulted in a 2 day stay in a psych ward) 3) Had a friend come and stay for abit, til she could move into a neighboring apartment Yeah, for the most part, 2010 sucked for me, but things are being worked on so I will hopefully have a btter 2011 |
Finally got divorced so that the current Mrs OF and I can tie the knot.
My elder sister died. I bought 2 1/2 acres of bush (scrub). Met a delightful young lady in Halifax. |
Didn't get laid off as they were planning
Was asked to teach blacksmithing at a Vo-tec school bought the wife a play house(5th wheel trailer) |
Strangely, nothing of significance happened to me this year. SSDY.
Last year, OTOH, whipsawed me so much, I say I was entitled to a year off. |
Daughter and I moved into an apartment. (Should be named the After Party Apartments)
Daughter was sick a lot. (Cost me a bundle.) Decided to change states in 2011. (Might end up going with nothing but leaving no mater what.) |
Some good ... some sad this year.
Sad, the loss of our oldest grandson. :( Joyful, the birth of our new grand-daughter. :) Special. Renting the guesthouse at Allerton Park for two days for our 47th Anniversary. |
My daughter moving out and giving me, and her father, the most heartbreaking stress and worry imaginable. I'm afraid she will continue into this year, although my prayers are said daily for divine intervention.
My decision to change careers and remain in the city we have grown to love. Our trip this summer to D.C. to view the wonderful wedding of my boyfriend's son and his lovely bride. I also got to meet the ex-wife, which went OK considering she only said two words to me in four days. |

Upon further review, I must blocked out the Great Nashville Flood of 2010. Easily counts as items 1, 2, & 3 on my significant events. Seriously, 7 months later, reverberations are still being felt. Pixies who attended PAGANashville might be shocked at the number of sites they saw that have been permanently changed. |
I split with my wife. :pissed:
I met Lilith (and a bunch of other wonderful people :D ) in Vegas. :lurv: Lilith met me in Seattle. :buttsex: |
