What were the best books you read this year?

Ummmm........All of them? Wheel of Time is a great series, but very involved. I've read the Obsidian Chronicles this year which is a great trilogy about dragons amd revemge. Little Green men is an interesting book about a guy who uncovers the governments involvement with alien abductions. Asking which is the best is like asking what kind of chocolate is the best. They're all great because they all have something to offer.

Sheesh, so many books that I went through this year.

My son got me to read one of his favorites series, Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan (5 books, the first was made into a movie).

A friend of mine got me to read one of her favorite books, The Color Purple.

Trying to keep up with one of my all-time favorites series, The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Sthephen Donaldson, since I got a chance to start in on the 3rd book of the final series (And it's one of my favorites since the first book of the first series was also the first book I ever bought with my own money, many many ages :roflmao:)

I know there is a ton more that I'm forgetting, since I'm constantly reading, but I know there were several Doctor Who novels finished, several other books that I reread over the course of the year

Probably the one I'm reading now (almost finished, in fact). "Moscow Rules" by Daniel Silva. A great story of espionage. I'd tell ya' the finish (just kidding) but I don't know yet since I still have a couple more chapters to read. It's a hard book to set down.

Oh, yeah. Finished "Moscow Rules" and found another book by the same author (Daniel Silva) call "The Defector" and have started it. Discovered it's a sequel to "Moscow Rules" and starts up where that book ended. Already, it's looking very good.

I started "The Help" and it is great so far.
