Well, kinda. Her thread "I'm ferklempt!" had me thinking.. a lot of characters from movie and tv and music have their own signature catch phrases, which make imitating them a dead giveaway.

I'm sure if I said 'Thank yew, thank yew vera much', or 'Go ahead, make my day', or 'Well, isn't that special!', or even 'Engage!', you could identify the speakers.

But what about you? What's your signature phrase or word? The one that anyone could quote, and people who know you would that they are quoting you?

Mine would be "Bite Me"
I will say it sometimes and not realize it,,,

I suppose this is what I most often as a kind of "good-bye" ... namely, "Be Good, now!"

Some cases, I'm only funning them. :D

In answer to the routine "How's it goin?" I always reply:
"Better than most, worse than some."

I tend to end some sentences with "and whatnot". I know I picked it up from Slingblade but I can't seem to stop it.

well my g/f can usually tell who I'm on the phone with by my tone of voice. Parent: normal
my best friend BU: kinda excited manipulative cute
On the phone with my ex b/f Jason I sound youngand innocent
clients (I have my own business): I sound serious and consise

"Ain't dat about a bitch.", sometimes altered with "Ain't dat some shit."

"Yeah, now that's what daddy likes right there."

"Oh, sweet monkey!"

"Some Nazi muthafucker stole my gatdamn [whatever's missing]."

"Pfft, fuck that."

"I'm 'bout ta jump up yer ass and start hangin' drapes."

"You can eat my ass with chopsticks, ya fucksmack."

"You fuckin' whore."... and on and on and on.


oddly enough, just about anytime i speak, it's quickly known that it's me.
