"A fool and his money may soon be parted" but it is far more complex than that.

Many are foolish, not fools, but lonely souls lost in search of some form of human care and contact. For some, it is via these preachers who promise them the best of this world through Christ and beyond in the afterlife that they feel more connected to the world and to their god. That is one area of thought on people who send off these guys their money.

For others it is no more than tithing to their church of choice.

Either way these contributors are believers in their faith, no more different than anyone else is.....unfortunate for most, but that's free enterprise, I mean freedom of religion for you!
