I think blindfolds could be fun ... letting the "anticipation" add to the level of excitement and thrill. I suppose the downside would primarily be if the blindfolded person anticipated being "tricked" into doing something their partner knew they didn't want. That could be a real bummer I suppose.

Maybe that could be avoided if the couple set some good ground rules about what isn't acceptable.
