I wonder why he just seems to be accepting this as a fact of life.

My grandparents were married 62 years, had five children, eleven grandchildren (that were always around) and umpteen great-grandchildren...and they LOVED gettin' it on! I'll never forget how proud my grandmother was when she showed my wife (girlfriend at the time) the mirror my grandfather put up over the bed. Do you think either of them would've just accepted that a waning sex drive is a fact of life?

It takes two people to fix this discrepancy. Buying lingerie (as awesome as I'm sure you'll look) will not turn him on if he doesn't want to be turned on. Why doesn't he want to be turned on? Sex is a great barometer of a relationship. Why do you think he's turning away?

Complete surrender should not just come at moments in which one faces overwhelming odds, but in the calm when it seems one is personally in complete control of one's life.
