This is our most recent visitor to the cathouse. I've always been a fan of Agatha Christie and I named him after one of her characters. His name is Hercule. I thought he looked French so I named him Hercule. (Yes, I know Hercule Poirot was Belgian.) Plus, he meows back to me when I call him mon ami.

Anyway, Hercule is a very, very nice kitty but he's not in the best of health. He's very underweight and had some sort of lump on his back that burst about a week ago. So.......... I clean his wound everyday and do my best to dress it for him. He doesn't mind at all, just stands there purring.

And yep, Hercule likes to give me a hand when I'm trying to do work in the flower bed. He likes to play with the weeds after I pull them out.
