Depending on the size of the swords......I'd cross the 40 inch and the 36 across my back, the 24 straight down the center of my back, then have my 28 and 32 on either hip. If I decided to carry my shield I could conceivably hide a very short sword between my arm and the wood. Daggers would get tucked into boots and gauntlets. That would be more than enough weaponry for almost any situation.
