The bad news is that dispite all my efforts, we're still finding Japanese beetles on the two birch trees at the front of our house. We put the granules around the base of the trees that was suppose to prevent them ... we sprayed the trees when we first spotted a few of the pests ... and I've squirted them with spray everytime I see one. They still keep coming.
