We rarely have a marital frolic at bedtime--we're both too sleepy then, and the spirit isn't all that willing when the flesh is all, "fuhgeddaboutit." We generally do it during the day on weekends, or right after work during the week.

The mattress deal is a true story, though. We got a new bed about a year ago with the ultra cushy memory foam top. It's wonderful for sleeping, but sources close to me complain that they sink too much into it, and there's not enough bounce for optimal fucking. I have noticed it making some positions slightly more challenging, but I have no complaints.
