I'm confused by a few posts. Some people have mentioned that they'd be so intent on pleasing the other person because it's the other person's first that they wouldn't enjoy it themselves. Now I may be weird or at the least a minority, but I enjoy pleasing my partner. I couldn't care less if I got mine or not.

I don't think I would want to be someone's first though. It is a very personal thing that I would not want to take the chance on ruining the experience.
