Interesting, from a foreigner's point of view.
My time in America has shown me that there are so many "lines" that cannot be crossed that society is smothering. People tiptoe around whispering about the "N" word instead of allowing that "nigger" was a word used by largely uneducated racists of the past (with a few lingerers). Cleansed versions of books such as Tom Sawyer are published, removing the historical kick in the shins. How can people see how far we've come if they've covered up the starting line?
