So, today was check-up #21 as an out-patient, 6 days shy of 4 years after my very last radiotherapy session. Not the Boss today, but his senior registrar, so nearly as good!

Usual palpating of the throat, look-see using those ultra-wide lollipop stick things, fingers in throat (pressing quite hard - yuk!) then the thing I hate most ~ the camera up the nose!

Not pleasant, and the clinic was running even later than usual, but as it resulted in a clean bill of health I could care less!

Further news on the plus side - don't need to go back again for SIX months!! Yee-haawww!!
