The cleanup is done, and the house habitable. The reconstruction stage, which involves several cabinets being sanded down, and probably all of them being repainted, and possibly new countertops, will take a little longer, but there's no reason we can't be in the house while that's happening.
The fire damage was localized to over the stove; the rest was just smoke and soot they had to cleanup in the adjoining 4 rooms. (The laundry is my problem, and it's taking several washes with vinegar to get the smell out. I'll be at it for a week, I'm guessing.)
