I try to stay out of the BS when it happens, but I have been thrown into the middle a few time. My worst one was my last job. I hurt my arm lifting something and was forced to file a workers comp case by the employer, so I did. Within a week they had an investigater on me very hard saying I wasn't hurt and it wasn't from lifting at work, yadda yadda yadda. Since it was worker comp my personal insurance wouldn't cover it, the investigator decided to have the doctors office file against me for the bills that the comp had already agreed to pay. The whole time my HR manager was lying to me and my supervisor creating problems for me in the work place. Long story short I ended my employment with a letter to the president, regional, and BBB.
I am probably permantly disabled from physical work and will live in constant pain, but my new job kicks butt. I've already stepped up and will be involved in a very large deal and get my own R&D team. I guess with the bad comes the good.
