Update on my office politics: Tonight, I was having a smoke with my supervisor during break. One of the worst employees in the place was called to task for his terrible work - poor attendance, poor quality service, low sales, and he takes too long to do his work. He tried to tell my supervisor about how me and a few other people cheat the system to make our statistics look better!

My supervisor is a buddy and he knows I'm doing good work, as are the other people this lazy bum mentioned.

I guess backstabbing is a part of life in many work situations. I always thought once I left high school 13 years ago that I would leave pettiness behind. Yes, I was wrong!
