The smartest thing I ever did was break out of my comfort zone and move out of the area I'd lived *all* of my life to a place all the way across country. I was exposed to many things I'd never had been exposed to, and, in doing so, I learned to appreciate the more simple aspects of life.
The dumbest thing I ever did was let someone talk me out of going to law school after I'd started receiving acceptance letters. Fortunately, things have worked out so that I'm still in the legal arena without all of the pressure, responsibility and hours involved as an attorney and can concentrate on the loves of my life, my children.

They just promised it would be worth it." ~ Unknown author
