I can rememeber always being embarrassed, trying to hide the fact that I had a lot of red in my hair. I used to dye it blonde or brown and kept it cut short-short. Not only was I cursed with auburn/ red hair but it was fairly curly as well. I thought it was horrible when all the pretty teens in magazines were blonde. I thougt that was the ideal. Now I wear my hair natural and long. I think I finally grew mature enough to realize that although it is not the norm, it can be an extreme turn on for some. Glad to hear others think so to.
