Men
Think of tossing a small pebble into a backyard wading pool and then getting soaked as the resulting small ripples turn to waves which grow alarmingly, tossing all the water completely out of the pool. It would be a similar picture.
Not only is there all that fairly powerful bit of muscular work going on in the pelvic regions. (All that pumping, spurting, and pulsing burns up lots of calories.) But, it is always, always followed by a series of large spasms which immediately radiate through out the whole body. One's pectorals actually get tired from the dozen or so cycles of totally uncontrolable clenching and releasing. The toes curl. The spine expands. The hairs stand up on the back of one's neck. Vision misfires. The brain all but shuts down. It requires several minutes of "please don't touch me" to dissipate.
Fortunately, women have splendid experiences as well.
