i met him at a party
and listened as He spoke.
His eyes met mine for seconds
and the spell could not be broke.
Timid, i approached Him,
not sure what to say.
He held His palm out to me
and looked the other way.

He told me not to join Him,
He warned me of the pain.
He said i couldn't take it,
that i would just complain.
When i refused to let go,
insisting i could cope,
He then agreed to guide me,
to show me every rope.

He wrapped me in His knowledge.
He taught me all He knew.
He led me forward gently
and watched me as i grew.

The night i learned "The Lesson"
that only He could teach
the pain was liberating,
a height He helped me reach.
my bonds were rough, not silken,
as i had often read,
and He was harsh, not tender
when He led me to His bed.

i, loving, did His bidding,
making each requirement real.
He took this love, He used it
And taught me how to feel.

To be so loved and loving,
so open and aware,
to trust and understand Him
and this passion that W/w e share
is all i ever wanted
When i stood before Him there.
