If you absolutely insist on measuring it (something I don't really approve of) get your lady to grip the shaft with her hand pressing against your pubic bone. She then grips the shaft with her other hand touching the first, and so on.

The correct answer to 'How big is it?' is ' Big enough to have fun!' But now you can answer 2-and- a-bit hands or whatever.
