It’s different when we have to protect ourselves like the Heads of State, but I know of what you speak. Prince Charles visited Cleveland a number of years ago and stayed in a home across the street. They had scuba divers checking the water behind for a week before hand. 
The point is that THEY have won. The way we live in America is changed for a long time to come. Our UNAWARENESS of it being the way many others have to live is the only true lesson we can learn. There are still MANY other things we can be thankful for. (but you may want to look quick)
