I must say at this!!!

Ok, I have only seen part of one episode,and it was a little melodramatic, but so are the lives of a lot of my friends.

I think Hollywood has become a little less threatened by Lesbians and Bi Women. I am not sure why we are a threat, maybe there are scared old men running things who are afraid that we would be better at pleasing their trophy wives and mistresses?

Also, some good Lesbian -Bi -Trans movies have been done recently. I think the funniest, sweetest, and maybe most real was "Better than Chocolate" It was very accurate, and very funny. I am not saying they got it all right. I mean, I don't even KNOW any trans, and I find it odd that a M to F trans would choose to become a Lesbian. But maybe I am just stupid....

"Go Fish" was fun, but 'WAY to close to home. I also have been verbally brutalized by my own sisters over my persistent attraction to and sexual encounters with men.
(I mean, it's not like I am getting married again, and they are so strong, and sometimes useful, and when they know how to dance, and are at least a LITTLE trainable... )
*ahem* I am off the subject here. Sorry.

Ellen Degeneres was treated badly, her show suddenly seemed to vanish, but not every Hollywood woman in a long term relationship with another woman is bothered. Lilly Tomlin, (a long time secret crush) and Jodie Foster, (a not so secret crush) both in long terms relationships with other women, and they have the power to be left alone.

I am more afraid of being assaulted, trashed, iced, beered, (I mean having stuff dropped on me from bar balconies) when I am out with a GF, than any other time. Holding hands can be dangerous, and kissing? DON"T GET ME GOING ON THAT!!!
Then there is the issue of Gay vs. Lesbian politics. It is a sad fact that the gays have more control over the GLBT Center here. The women always seem to get pushed out.
Plus we have bed death to deal with!!!!

*feels dizzy and sits down*
