Just a quick thought here....(waits for the belly laughing to sudside).......

There has always been a double standard in sexuality in film and TV. For example.....you'll see more full body nude shots of females....but not of males (because their genitalia is exposed).

My thinking as to male homosexuals being more prevalent......is that on TV......they never did "show the full monty" anyway.....so what's a kiss or a holding of the hand or a couple living together (notice no bedroom scenes on prime time TV as yet).....besides a teeny, tiny step into reality? But, if they were to really let loose and make more lesbian shows.....well.....how could they stop at just the kiss when we've seen so much more of all women as opposed to all men?
