There are some new approaches with hormonal treatments which, effectively, are supposed to "mimic pregnancy" and cause a natural swelling. Basically, it's nonsense. Some women do self report an enhancement, but it's small and quite possibly just wishful thinking. Moreover, anything that messes with a woman's body chemistry aint 100% safe. Even bc pills (which do a mild mimicry of pregnancy) cause unpleasant reactions in some of the women who take them. And, here's the fun part, the effect is short lived. Even IF it works (which I'm still saying is unlikely), you're stuck swallowing chemicals for the rest of your life to maintain the little you got. Basically, if pills that made your boobs bigger this way were effective...they wouldn't have passed the FDA.

But mostly, I agree with Lil. If it's a self esteem issue, there are better ways to boost it....ways that don't send the added poisonous message that there really WAS something wrong in the first place. If it's a desire to look different in clothes...wonderbras or fashion inserts do the job pretty well.....alternatively there are wonderful fashions that require smaller breasts (something that can't be faked). And if it's just fantasy fulfillment on one or both of your parts...well.....I've never met anyone with just one fantasy that needed fulfilling.

If she does decide to investigate surgury as an option (I won't say it's wrong for everyone....just that it shouldn't be treated as a small or obvious decision), I'd recommend treating it like a car purchase. Compare lots of doctors, look them up on the internet (not just their websites), talk to loads of women who've had it done (not just the ones the docs will set you up with...although you do want to include them).

Just my 2cents. Let me know if I've managed to muddy up the waters, and I'll try to clear 'em up again.
