Ya know, lately I've been giving alot of thought to things like this. I have a cousin and two very close friends in Fallujah as we speak. My cousin is a Navy Seabee (construction, heavy equipment operator) and my friends are in an Army maintenence battalion (sp?) I would be safe to say that any of them would not expect the US Military to back out just because they were captured. The truck drivers and other civilians over there working are getting paid amazing amounts of money to be there. Hell, even I considered trying to get a job over there as a mechanic. They knew the risks when they signed on to go over. I didn't necessarily agree with the US still being in Iraq, especially after they captured Sadaam. Since he's been turned back over to Iraq (stupid move) I would almost expect him to gain power again...so, we need at least SOME troops there. I still say this Iraq war will drag on just like Vietnam did and I definitely dont' agree with that, but I'm not in charge. As far as what OF said, I've already had one person here pretty much tell me they do not wish to chat with me anymore because I agree with some of the things Irish has said recently. I hate that it comes to that, but I have to say what's on my mind sometimes.....Ok...rant over.
