Good advice from all above! Only a doctor can tell if there is an actual problem. If your family doctor is also your gynecologist then see him/her. But if not, see a gynecologist so that he/she can do an internal exam. If you are using condoms, they may be the problem. Some women are allergic to latex, although I have never heard of bleeding as a side effect. It may be something as simple as too much friction and a lubricant would be in order till you are more used to the actual act of intercourse. To calm you a bit, I don't think this seems like a life or death situation. But to be safe and to help the situation a doctor would need to do an internal to make sure there is no obsrtuction that may be the cause. And one more thing. It may be a good idea to schedule this exam while your boyfriend is visiting in case the doctor has a question that only he can answer, for example. Good luck.
