First of all Roxanne, absolutely terrific thread! A woman after my own heart. If reading two books at a time makes someone a nerd, I wonder what I must be since it's always two at once, if not more, for moi.

Right now I'm reading "When Christ and His Saints Slept" by Sharon Kay Penman...it's a historical fiction about England's past Queen Maude..

And "The Ill-Made Mute: The Bitterbynde Book I" by Cecilia Dart-Thornton....fantasy novel(my particular weakness).

John Iriving has written scads of wonderful books, the best of which(in my opinion) is "The World According to Garp". Some of his other good ones are "A Prayer for Owen Meany" and "The Cider House Rules".

Is there any particular author that you have to read absolutely every book that they have ever written?
