I'm currently not working, so I have everyday off.
Hubby got a half day on friday and has monday off.
Don't have any big plans. Going to have bbq with the family. (steak, mac salad, tossed salad, deviled eggs & watermelon)
Might go to see fireworks, depends on if daughters want to. If not, I can see some way off in the distance from my front porch (the high ones anyway) so I'll sit out there and watch them. No crowds.
Have a great day everyone! Whatever you do please be safe..... We want you back here with us on the 5th.

I will be working on the 4th... but my job is a great one, and I'll be in the thick of the holiday activities.
Monday is a holiday, so no school for me... instead I'll spend the day stressing about what's to come at school on Tuesday....lol

Go to an all-day festival with food booths, bands, performers, etc. Sit out on the grass there and watch a big fireworks show with the symphony playing on the stage. Take my time leaving to avoid some traffic.

Helping the family unpack from their trip and go see fireworks at San Diego Bay. Monday I hope to talk to someone that will be stressed out about the upcoming Tuesday's school.

Off today but will work my normal 5AM to 8AM time tomorrow (Monday). We'll be taking in Peoria's fireworks this evening with two other couples and our oldest daughter and her family. They do it along the Illinois River and put on a great show for a small metro area (350K +/-).

Just the standard all-day cookout with revolving family, friends and neighbors stopping by.
If you’re into the fireworks, you should be one of the stop-ins.
We are able to watch Cleveland’s BIG metro area (1.5 m +/-) show from the bluffs at the edge of the lake, 6 miles away. Thirty minutes after their finally, our little village (2,200 +/-) has it’s 20 – 30 minute show in the park, including lots of neat ground displays for a very small town feeling.
Something for everybody.

We're still waiting for our independance. C'mon the republic.
Australia Day is a big feelgood TV time, lots of BBQs (summer) and
the seasonal fixation on the road toll.
We just passed Territory Day, our legal Cracker Night without blowing
up the Tower of Darwin (dammit). Southern States all think it's just
too dangerous, but us pinknecks claim it as our Territory right to
let off big mobs of fireworks and scare the fruitbats into next week.
Apart from that, not much.
