Redskins
Spurrier resigned after completing 2 years of a 5 year contract. Not like him at all. Any one know what's up?
I heard he and Snyder had troubles but to walk out on $15 million and not be able to coach in the NFL for 3 years???????wtf?

LMAO... but he's one hell of a college coach. I hope he's heading somewhere that can use him.

I think he was just like all of the college coach failures before him, there is a big difference between coaching a broke college kid and coaching a multi-millionare professional.

I agree (write that down)
Much easier to inspire someone who has everything to lose.

I read Snyder wanted different assistants but Spurrrier had the right to hire/fire.

Spurrier had denied that he quit because his right hand didn't know wft his left hand was doing.
Basically, he had assistants in several different places working out the deal with his resignation...they came to an agreement, Snyder accepted it, and announced it. Spurrier didn't know that the final details had been worked out, and denied that he had quit. Then he found out that he had indeed, officially quit, and owned up to it.
Typical of the man, couldn't be bothered to keep track of what was going on. He really has been the worse thing to happen to the 'Skins in recent years, glad he's gone.

Yeah, but now Coach Gibbs is back...if there were just some talent on the team for him to work with!

My wife & I,have always admired Joe Gibbs, both in previous foot-
ball & in NASCAR.Besides everything else,he treats his men right.
He REWARDS his men for doing good.He also takes privilages away,if the are not performing,to the best of their ability.
For example,if his Pit Crew(in NASCAR)does good, they get to use
the Gibbs furnished & paid for Workout Room.I workout daily,& I
can tell you, that equipment is VERY expensive! Irish
P.S.If you ever see him being interviewed, after a race, you will see
a Redskins football helmet, behind him.He coached the Redskins
before.
