Pixie Ladies
To Pixie ladies everywhere, I’d like to take the time,
And share my fondness for you, this time, of course, in rhyme.
You make each day seem brighter, you bring sunshine to us guys,
You fill our hearts with happiness, for you, we want to strive.
We search for clever sayings, we try to conjure up the words,
But for angels such as you are, choirs should be heard.
I don’t suppose I’ll ever feel, like I’ve really said it well,
You’re a special part of living, you’re quite simply – pretty swell.
Thanks for being who you are and for sharing yourselves with us,
Our words may often fail, and we may sometimes sound like lust,
But the truth is you are much more than that, a bright spot in our day,
So please accept these feeble words, as my attempt to say …
No where else on this ol’ web, no place else in all the lands,
Are there ladies such as you to gladden the hearts of men,
You are joy where there is sorrow, you are beauty in the rain,
You are a pleasure for us to witness, you are a melody’s refrain,
You are like angels sent from heaven, you are like visions in a dream,
To you I give my humble thanks, in my mind, you reign supreme.
