Be Well
In southernese we often say something polite yet mean entirely something else. Often I tell someone to "be well" or I simply "wish them well" when I actually mean..."don't let the screen door hit ya where the good Lord split ya" or "wanker off".
Do you have a saying that you use to be polite when you really want to be anything but?

How 'bout, "I'll be sure to take that into consideration," aka "There's no way in hell I would even think about doing that, and I can't believe you thought I would." (Used often at work, btw.)

I usually say what I mean ... when I'm being polite in such a way ... I just say it as if it were a joke .... But, when I can't do that, usually I just nod and smile .... drives people nuts!!!! (I know, it's horrifically passive-aggressive!)

I recall a couple of co-workers having a little argy about a personnal matter, one of those where nobody could be right or wrong, but they still were batting it back & forth...finally in frustration, he called her by her last name (which meant to me he was ready to tell her off)...paused, & told her, "You have a nice day!!!"
His tone said exactly the opposite, & everybody in the room got a laugh...
