Clothing vs weather
So, it's actually gotten seasonal around here. Even slightly colder than seasonal, actually. And a freind of mine posted to his blog about what people might be wearing because of the drastic change in weather-which is expected to drastically change back to way-warmer-than-average in the next couple of days.
But despite the cold, I'm still wearing a t-shirt & sweat pants. Yes, that's it. Yes, I've been outside today. Yes, in just that. Yes, I used to live in Siberacuse, why do you ask?
So, what are people wearing today? Dress for the temperature, or do you tend to ignore it?

Sweats of any kind tend to be too warm for me, I'm definately a warm-blooded mammal...but for the winter months, my lounging wear goes from shorts & a tee to flannel pj bottoms & a tee...& until this week, when temps have finally started dipping below the 50-60F range, I would go out to the mailbox etc. in that...but not today, am temp was below freezing & it has moderated to a balmy 40 by my estimate...so when I went out to take a pic of my latest spinner to sell online, I threw on the heavy jacket for the >5 minutes it took...

I don't vary much - I wear short sleeves in the summer and I have some lighter weight (non-wool) pants....but at work I usually wear long or 3/4 sleeves and dress pants year round. At home you'll see my in capris and short shirts in the summer, and spandex workout pants and light sweaters in the winter.

gekkogecko,
It is a short walk from the parking garage to the office, so slacks, tee & a dress shirt were sufficient.

At work I layer heavily. T-shirt, flannel or sweat shirt, hoody, and Carhart jacket. Or if I have to be out for long periods of time I drop the Carhart and put on coveralls. I'm considering trading the coveralls, for insulated bibs. Throughout the day I shed layers.
