I wanna be a MILF not a MOOSE!!!!
So I'm going out (with the girls) for the first time in a LONG time and I've been through all my going out clothes...some of them don't look bad, but none of them make me look sexy....I'm just not ready to look 'Mumsy', even if Mumsy is pretty and feminine. None of my 'feel good' sexy outfits look nice on me anymore and my figure is virtually the same as before I had JR so what's going on?
When did I turn into the fashionless frump that can't carry anything off any more? And more to the point, what the f**k am I going to wear to the bachelorette party on Saturday night?!
AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH !

Is the problem figure or image? And is it your problem or does everyone see it? Is it because you are not the same woman who wore those clothes before?

After all the hormonal upheaval you might consider a mini makeover. New moms put so much energy into raising baby. Time to take a moment for yourself now!
Go get your hair, nails and toes done. Treat yourself to a new outfit. Those empire cut blouses that are like tunics (thigh length) are so cute over boot cut jeans and heels. Oh...and a brand spankin new bra might be in order. Nothing feels better than proper support. So get measured (to compensate for the recent changes) and buy a functional, yet pretty, new bra.
And have fun Loulabelle!
*hugs n hugs*

Lilith - I think it's that I looked like this before I was pregnant and just hadn't looked at myself in the mirror properly. I think the now, the reality has hit me, added to which it's more important to me now to look sexy not frumpy.
Lixy - I know that those things would help, apart from the tunic thingies....I know they look good on me, and that's probably what I'll end up wearing, but they are so 'Mum-trying-to-look-good-but-can't-show-any-skin-at-all'....I need to buy a corset to show myself off to my best, I think! lol

Crisis averted! I tried on the new dress I bought recently again, and have changed my mind about it. It's low enough cut to be sexy and 'daring' but in a good way. I look sexy yet classy in it, I think, but it's bit more 'clubby' than my tunic top.

Wear your smile...it is beautiful and very fitting.
And if you need help picking out an outfit, please feel free to model for us!
