Oldfart's travelling digression.
I've just done a quick detour to New Zealand for an Air Show.
It was WW1 themed with visits from WW2 and ground action.
The pics are a bit muddled, but each stands on it's own merits.

They've got these picture frames that have their own little built-in stands so you don't have to use merits...
The unmistakable "broken wing" Corsairs remind me of the hours gleefully wasted watching "Baa Baa Black Sheep". I also have a distant memory of building a model kit of the "Tiger Shark" way back when.

Fantastic pictures, OF! Loved the picture of the P-40 Warhawk. Always liked the looks of that fighter. |
