The pleasant, last thing I expected
Today I had a most unexpected little surprise that set my day off right for a change.
As some of you know, I shop eBay quite a bit, half for the comparison and pricing advantage it offers and half because I enjoy playing the last 5 second sniper game. Well I had been looking to replace a small tool that was lost a few months ago and after accepting that it's gone and not going to be showing up, I shopped and did my sniper thing by 4 seconds and won my $12 item with $1.98 shipping.
On my way out this morning I received the envelope from Sparta, TN and was content I'd gotten it. As I drove to work I opened the envelope to find my tool wrapped in two $1 bills and a note. There seems to be a few fair and nice people left after all.
So what little thing has surprised and pleased you lately?

How proud I feel watching my kid in marching band. I didn't expect to feel so proud.

Why does the idea of PF with $2 wrapped around his tool deeply disturb me?

I've had a similar experience off of eBay, years ago when I still could afford to look there. I had won a couple of novels (Doctor Who for those who know that series) and when I had gotten the package, I found an additional Doctor Who book included with a note saying that the seller thought I might enjoy it. Gives me hope that the world isn't as full of selfish idiots as it appears to be based on my area in the summer time (tourist trap from Memorial to Labor Day )

What scares me is PF playing sniper games.
