Like a HUGE cavern w/ bats and spiders
I went to Carlsbad Caverns this summer and was curious about other caverns. Have you been to cool ones? Do you like them snug and so tight you can barely squeak through or damp, roomy with lots of structures?

There's a place near Mt St Helens called the Ape Caves. They're lava tubes formed long long ago that you can hike through. At times it you're in a large area climbing over rock piles and at other times you're on smooth flat ground in a tight spot.
When I went through it seemed like I was on fire... it was quite a workout.

Clever? Nah, I ran out of that years ago. But if you find this, let me know, k?

I went through the mountain to Ruby Falls in Chattanooga once. That's my only experience with caves. It was kind of cool.

Been thru several caves Carlsbad,Onyx,Marval cave both open with large rooms and some with narrow passages .Pikes peak is honeycombed with caves you can explore on your own, also southern Mo. lots of lime stone caves there. The tourist are great for family, but if you go caving on your own go with friends and essential supplies, lights, rope, extra battries and cell phone. If we could wiggle thru a hole we went in you never know what you will find some pretty neat places and some you can't get out of fast enough!
