Who is...?

I watched Jeopardy the other night and was floored that none of the contestants knew the name of the man who played what is arguably the most famous guitar solo ever.

So I'm curious... how many Pixies' know his name? I know there are people that won't because they're younger or maybe it's just not the style of music they listen to, but I've always thought it was fairly well known.
