not sure where i want to go with this...

so don't tear off my head off too much. just a thought that popped up in my head while i was chattin away in the chat room. i can't say that i watch that much television, so this is just based on some quick observations in the recent year.

nowadays, the networks seem to be doing just a bit better with homophobia. there seems to be more programs with them in fashion shows, drama shows, or even house decorating programs.

now, while we are slowly being told that being gay is something to accept, how about lesbians? mostly it still seems to portray the lipstick image that men fantasize about. (again, i channel surf quite fast so not sure if there are many shows regarding the situation.)

so the question is this. is the sexism card still being played, even though the men are gay? does a gay man somehow have more insight then a lesbian? like i said with the title, this is just a random thought, so feel free to take this discussion any way you want to.
