The Cubs have their season opener on March 31. 
This is FINALLY going to be the year they win the World Series again. I'd say a full century between championships is long enough.

I saw some really great old photos today on Facebook, of my home area in the past ~125 years, including the lighthouse my great-grandmother tended.

My great-grandfather was cook on a rum-running ship that went down into the Caribbean!
I just finished making a pie crust. I'll finish the pie tomorrow - it's gonna be lemon meringue

My grandfather (the source of my middle name) was a guard at Brushy Mountain State prison in east TN, the same pen that, years later, would house James Earl Ray.

My great grandfather was a teacher, and even with Alzheimer's could recite the counties in Ohio (there are tons of them) in alphabetical order
