TRUE. You'd think being retired I'd have all the time off I wanted ... and ... I do ... but it's still great to get away from the house and everything and spend a little time with just my wife. I'm in that kind of mood right now, wishing for a get away time for just us.
You just unexpectedly won some money.

True! Had big plans and with the nice weather for a change was able to fulfill most of them.
Grandpa, dad and grandson went to the youngest's first gun show Saturday afternoon and for a hey ride that evening with his two cousins and aunt.
Major pumpkin carving was today's event. Good weekend all around.
You know the holidays are closing in on you and want to get your things done ahead of time so you can actually enjoy them.

True. Had two, but our small female cat had to be put down. She was getting very old and was in great pain ... so much so, she'd nip at anyone trying to touch her. After two bites we had to let her go. No, just on one big (20+ lbs) male cat, "Stud." He's a terrific kitty. Very gentle and very loving.

Not true any longer. I did play cow-pasture-pool during some years while I owned a small business and belonged to a number of professional associations.
You are or have been active in civic (as opposed to political) groups.
