I hate that pic. Well, not the pic itself. The way it's being used. It was actually taken during the 3.4 quake in this area a couple of years ago. I'm majorly irritated by the number of my friends who recycled the thing as a way to minimize the 2011 quake. Fuckers.

Considering there was much more surprise than damage to property, injury or loss of life among a population not use to the functions of geology, it actually seems appropriate to the discussions so far from the plate boundaries. How lasting are the event results for you?
