Alice Cooper (Dead Babies tour)
Black Sabbath (Original rounds.....1972)
Humble Pie (All the young uns say.........WHO??????)
Ten Years After (All the young uns say.....WHO????? again)
Motley Crue
Aerosmith
Van Halen (David Lee Roth)
Mick Ronson & Ian Hunter (Aerosmith was opening band and kicked ass!!!) (Mick & Ian's mic's kept cutting out....LMAO!)
Aerosmith (again)
Frank Zappa (Hated it!)
Cheap Trick (small venue and met Robin Zander)
Aerosmith (again)
David Bowie
Hall & Oates (OMG......I am not proud of this one!)
OzzFest 1997 (Black Sabbath's first reunion tour)
Bon Jovi (never saw them in concert but Jon hung at a club I used to frequent and so he sang there once in a while)
Aerosmith (again)

There are more but I think I was too high to even know I actually saw them!

NEED to see.......

U2
Aerosmith (again)
Bon Jovi (in a concert venue)

I'm still a rocker (always will be) but I forgot to mention that I did have an opportunity to catch Frank Sinatra Jr. in Atlantic City once. I went reluctantly...but was pleasantly surprised. Surprised he could actually sing and surprised I liked and knew most of his songs. OK...well, actually they were his dad's songs...but he was pretty good. If you closed your eyes on "New York, New York" you'd think Poppa was in da house!

Saw Aerosmith again since I originally posted here...but am still trying to convince Mr. Lixy that he just might enjoy a Bon Jovi concert...lol! Still NEED to see U2!

P.S. Eddie Money died recently, didn't he Lil? Did you get to see him beforehand?

Can't believe I didn't reply to this before ... my concert going is much less than many of you and interestingly doesn't really reflect all of my musical taste ... more reflective of the taste that I share with certain friends who like to go to concerts....

Alabama (several times)
George Strait
Earl Thomas Conley
Gordon Lightfoot (several times)
Neil Diamond (several times)

I know there's at least one or two others, just can't think of them at the moment.

The only person of any 'celebrity' I've seen in concert was Billy Joel, back during the Storm Front tour (which I think was 1990).

I've seen some other bands, but they wre all the 'college band' type and probably not known outside Indiana.

Musicals I've seen more of, in the last 14-15 years or so:
Phantom 3 times
Les Miz once
and most recently
Miss Saigon

Otherwise 'celeb' encounters have been brief things, and sometimes I've walked away with autographs (I think I talked about this in another thread...)

Oh crud! I forgot Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton in Rosemont when I was 6 or 7 - dad couldn't go, mom had to find SOMEBODY. I STILL get teased about falling asleep in the middle of it.

All I can tell you is I know it wasn't Eric Clapton and it was approximately 1965.
