The Weather Underground is my choice for weather. There's always a popup box, but I seem to be able to get to the actually forecast quicker than the Weather Channel site.

is great, i get to watch all the movie trailers.... and await there release over here in the UK!

One of my favorites, too, e-r! I switched to a DSL connection and now I can see the movie trailers quickly and I LOVE MOVIE TRAILERS. They really build your anticipation for upcoming movies.
I love the feeling of viewing one, then saying, "WOW! I've got to see THAT movie!!!"

I usually hit up www.ebaumsworld.com at least once a day. It's full of funny videos, pictures, ect. Is a good time waster. LOL |

If you're running Win2K, XP, or Mac OS X, several of these are now available from within iTunes, as well as certain music videos. They're on the iTunes Music Store link (which is still US only, sorry guys).
I read my mail sites every day (but those are web based, it counts), and MacSurfer (which does cover the general IT industry, if you scroll down far enough  ). |

When my kids were younger, one of my favorites was www.kids-in-mind.com. I found it pretty useful going in what movies were okay for them to see.

I work with hot steel alot and use Anvilefire.com, I-Forge is the how to page lots of ideas. Iforgeiron.com has lots of info for blacksmiths as well
